"Forty Days: The Alchemy of Tranquility," a workshop teaching practices for psychological balance and spiritual development, will be held from 9 am to 3 pm, July 12, 2008, in the Creekside Room, Caleruega Hall, Dominican University of California.

The program is offered by the Community Healing Centers, headquartered in Novato. Continuing Education Units are available for psychotherapists: 5 CEUs available for MFTs and LCSWs. The workshop is open to the public, and the facility is wheelchair accessible.

Workshop presenters include Sufi Master Dr. Ali Kianfar; Dr. Amelia Pryor, MFT; Jamal Granick, MFT; Mary Toth Granick, MFT; Salima Ginny Matchette, MFT; Salim George Matchette, MFT; and Katherine Preston, MFT. The day-long event will include teachings from modern psychology and ancient wisdom, meditation, and guidance for daily practice.
